Jets Reveal They Are Lacking In Too Many Areas

The New York Jets are 0-2. That was not unexpected and now they’re on a path to reel off more losses. Why? What’s going wrong?

Justin Fields isn’t a good NFL quarterback. When he goes up against a good defense, indecision and his lack of accuracy are on full display.

The Jets still can’t stop the run. They’re given up the ninth most rushing yards in the league. It seems like the Jets can only focus on one area in each draft and rarely fix more than 2-3 spots when they are drafting a lot more players than that.

Will the Jets draft a quarterback this year? They have to. They can’t go on like this. When Tyrod Taylor is your backup, and looks better than the starter, you have a huge problem.

The loss of AVT was huge. It has affected the run game and the Jets ‘same old’ formula is getting tiresome. When the quarterback isn’t good, they go ground and pound. Well that has been a failure of sorts. The Steelers are a mid team so we see what happens when they face a better defense.

I heard all of this hype about Braelon Allen and he has eight rushes so far this season? Why? Because Fields runs and is the Jets second best rusher. If you didn’t think this could happen as a coaching staff, then you were delusional.

Stop the narrative that Fields can do anything. Start the narrative that the Jets have two basic running quarterbacks and they were never going to win more than 3-4 games this season. Now, if they had more discipline they would have a win. They weren’t going to beat Buffalo.

We can blame players for bad plays or fumbles and cut each of them every week and soon they won’t have a roster.

Prepare for the Jets being a bottom dweller again and let’s see what they can get better at before the season ends. As far as the record? Yeah, that was a hyped up narrative.

They were never going to win seven or more games.
