Matthew Blittner interviewed inductees of the New York State Hall of Fame. Check back as we update them today. First up is former Islanders announcer Jiggs McDonald. 

Editor’s note: Jiggs is a prince of a guy. I used to watch him on Sportschannel growing up on Long Island. Bruce Bennett was very helpful in my career and I will always appreciate that. I did a book signing with Dave Maloney and he’s a great hockey resource. Joe had a long and distinguished career. Billy Smith is a fun interview. I may have to break that one out from the past.
