PITTSBURGH, PA (March 23, 2022) – Brad Marchand, 2x hockey All-Star and Boston winger, announced today that he has entered a partnership with PLB Sports & Entertainment, the creators of Flutie Flakes, to launch his March Munch Cinnamon Crunch cereal, a cinnamon toast square profile, in the Spring of 2022. The cereal will be available online at www.marchmunch.com in addition to Shaw’s, Star Markets and Market Basket locations.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of cereal benefits Christopher’s Haven, a Boston based organization whose mission is to operate a supportive and affordable living community consisting of apartments and a community recreation area for families of children undergoing cancer treatment in nearby Boston hospitals.
“Having my own cereal is a dream come true,” said Marchand. “Growing up, as a kid I would see different athletes with their own cereal, I just never thought it would be me one day. The fact that it is my favorite cereal makes this project event sweeter.”
The cereal is produced in partnership with PLB Sports and Entertainment and Marchand’s agent Kim Zayotti at Blue Sky Sports & Entertainment. For more than 30 years, PLBSE has created unique brands and lines for athletes and entertainers such as Patrick Mahomes Mahomes Magic Crunch, Doug Flutie’s Flutie Flakes, Josh Allen’s Josh’s Jaqs, Barstool Sports Pardon My Flakes and many more.
