I waited a few days to talk about this. I loved the fact that they won in week 1, but that never changed my take on the season; five or six wins- that’s all they are capable of. What’s the reason for this take? 

The decisions at the two-minute warning in the first half, where it took an eternity to run plays, were a joke. It was laughable. That’s on Frank Reich and Geno Smith as well.  

Smith has had 13 fourth-quarter comebacks in his career in 99 starts. Daniel Jones has 10 in 86 starts. And most Jets fans think Jones stinks. 

Asking for the ball in overtime is indefensible, but Glenn wants to, even though historical stats show otherwise.  

The offensive line collapsed before overtime. This team is a house of cards. They have some good, young, talented players, but they resorted to the Jets of yesteryear. They got a one-year plug quarterback, hoping they could catch lightning in a bottle, and that plan has failed too many times to run back – – but they did. 

I will watch every game. I look for hope every week, but the reflex of “uh-oh, it’s happening again is still there, and when ownership decides times up for Glenn, they will bring in Mike Tomlin.  

Glenn has done a good job with the defense, and that’s what he is good at. That’s the way it is.

The Jets need to wise up and decide who the next quarterback is going to be. The fact that they picked up Will Levis, doesn’t show a lot of confidence in the quarterback room that they have.
